The Sewing Labs is a not-for-profit, community learning, sewing center started in 2016 in Kansas City that partners with volunteers, donors, businesses, and community members to offer sewing education, as well as social and intellectual opportunities. The Sewing Labs combines these skills with entrepreneurial elements to inspire students.
Not only do the folks at The Sewing Labs teach adults how to sew, they also teach children about sewing, which can help them to live a more creative life at an early age while learning very valuable skills. Sewing skills are in demand.
